Protection Island Race 2021

Ah, Protection Island (yes, the island itself) surely lived up to its name this year, protecting all competitors from almost any of that nasty stuff called "breeze". This had the advantage of giving sailors plenty of time to focus instead upon the current ripping through the race course. All in all, an event full of big lessons on physics, nature (human and otherwise), the value of "grin and bear it" mindfulness, and the joy and challenges of competing on an uneven playing field.
