So not your normal cup of tea for a crack-of-dawn adventure on a Thursday. This was the start of a 750-mile trek north to Ketchikan, Alaska, in anything BUT a vessel that’s propelled by machinery. If these photos look a little offbeat, it may be that the collection of participants were off beat … no two boats were alike.
