Race to the Straits 2019

Sometimes there's breeze, and sometimes there isn't ... but breeze or not, Port Townsend is ALWAYS a terrific place to spend the weekend! On Saturday, with no RTS sailors in sight for hours, even all the way down course by Point No Point (which actually proved our efforts were pointless), we instead chose to shoot the PT Opening Day festivities - quite fun! Then on Sunday, we spent just about as much time photographing the starts as the race committee spent setting a decent starting line and getting the fleet off on time. No matter, here are the collective results of our photographic efforts. Bottom line? We had fun and hope you did, too!
