Three Tree Point Race 2019

Ah, for those years that the wind doesn't show up, perhaps we should have a selection of AEN (Alternate Event Names) for this one, like 1.5 Tree Point, One Point Then Duwamish, Wherever Other Than There, or Let's Retire to the Club Race, etc. Redefining "drifter", this year's race left many in a meditative state (perhaps numb?), wondering why on earth they were spending such a beautiful Saturday floating about at Mach -6, pretending it's even worthwhile to covet a "win" in such conditions. Well. enjoy these photos anyway - it was sure nice to scoot from boat to boat while we could, taking crew portraits - thanks for the energetic smiles from those whose bows we crossed!
