Toliva Shoal 2020

More than any other in recent history, this race perfectly distinguished the difference between weather forecasting and weather observation! Bruce's forecast was obviously spot on (per usual), with the 30+ knots of wind gusts, but what couldn't be foretold was the reality of what was about to occur, that is the "30-knots-to-doldrums-to-knock-down-to- relax-o-matic-to-"Holy-schamoly-hang-on!"-to- ) ... well, you get the picture. A tough day for everyone, to be sure. Throw in a bumpy, wet day for the PhotoBoat, and the result just might be noticeable here - with mega-movement, fog, rain, splash and focus challenges all around.
