Circumstances (imagine, life itself) dictated that Sunday would be the only day I could cover this classic event, so these few photos depict the relatively light conditions the fleet endured until (yes) told to "get the heck off the water " (because of) the huge winds rapidly approaching the race course! Smart move, SYC RC! Enjoy these photos - it's always terrific to see old friends (and make new ones) on the competing boats!
